These rules ensure safety, comfort, and order for all members of Vinvalvet. As a member, you are responsible for ensuring that both you and your guests abide by these rules.
1. ACCESS & SECURITY
- Personal Access: Your key tag/code is personal. Lending it to anyone else is strictly prohibited.
- No Tailgating: Always ensure the door latches securely behind you when entering or exiting. Do not allow unknown persons in.
- Guests: You are welcome to bring guests (max 3 persons) for a spontaneous tasting at no extra cost. You as a member are fully responsible for your guests' conduct and ensuring they leave when you do.
- Larger Groups: Are you more than 4 people in total? That is considered an event and the venue must be booked in advance (see booking terms on the site).
2. WINE & ALCOHOL
- BYO Beverage: Vinvalvet holds no alcohol license. All wine consumed on the premises must be the member's own property, taken from their locker or brought along.
- No Sales: Selling alcohol to other members or guests on the premises is strictly forbidden.
- Moderation: We are a place for wine tasting and enjoyment, not intoxication. Noticeably intoxicated persons are not permitted on the premises.
3. SOCIAL AREA (THE LOUNGE)
- Dishes & Glassware: Glassware and tableware are available to borrow. After use, everything must be loaded into the dishwasher.
- If empty: Load your dishes.
- If full/running: Hand wash or load where space permits. Never leave dirty dishes on tables.
- Cleaning: Wipe down tables and surfaces after use. Floor spills must be wiped immediately to prevent staining.
- Food: Light snacks (cheese, charcuterie, snacks) are permitted. Food causing strong odors or requiring cooking is prohibited due to ventilation limits.
4. WINE LOCKERS
- Sealed Containers Only: Lockers may only be used to store beverages in sealed bottles/containers. No perishable food, meals, or flammable items.
- Padlocks: Lockers must be kept locked with your own padlock when unattended.
- Aisles: Items may not be left on the aisle floors for fire safety reasons.
5. BOOKINGS & AVAILABILITY
- Check the Calendar: The venue is popular and can be booked by companies and private groups for exclusive use. Before planning a visit, check the booking calendar at www.vinvalvetgbg.se/mina-sidor.
- During Active Events: If the lounge is booked, that group has exclusive access to the social area.
- External Guests: During external bookings, the door to the wine storage area is locked to guests. Only members with active access can enter the locker area.
6. OTHER RULES
- Smoking: The entire property, including the entrance, is smoke-free.
- Damage: If something breaks (e.g. a glass), notify us at info@vinvalvetgbg.se. We do not charge for an occasional broken glass, but we need to track inventory. Major damage must be reported immediately.
- Last Person Out: If you are the last person leaving, double-check that the front door is securely locked.
Violation of these rules may lead to a warning or, in repeated cases, suspension and termination of membership.
